SysWise is an iOS app, live on the App Store, for preparing for system-design interviews. It turns a stated goal and level into a personal path across four tracks, then runs a practice loop that brings back the topics you get wrong.

Reviews are scheduled with SM-2 spaced repetition, and readiness is shown as a mastery score with topic coverage. Streaks, XP, and weekly leagues keep practice going, and sessions are server-authoritative so XP cannot be farmed.

It is built with Expo and React Native on a Hono API with Drizzle, PostgreSQL, and pg-boss on Bun. Lesson content is produced through an LLM pipeline on OpenRouter, and subscriptions run through RevenueCat.

Highlights

  • Personal learning path across four tracks
  • SM-2 spaced repetition on past mistakes
  • Sign in with Apple and Google
  • App UI in 30 languages

Challenges

  • System-design prep is usually a reading list, so candidates cannot tell which topics they have actually mastered.

Outcomes

  • Live on the App Store since August 2026
  • Spaced repetition and readiness scoring
  • App UI in 30 languages
